Victor Cordero

Born in Mexico City from a family of actors and singers, Victor Cordero started to be in front of the camera at a very early age. Being the son of a TV producer, and being related to some actors in the sets of the soaps in Mexico, he began doing little parts while he continued his education.

 

When he came to America, immediately got into the program of TV and Video Transmissions at the former Rancho Santiago College in the city of Santa Ana, now known as “Santa Ana College” and “Orange College”

 

Victor Cordero graduated with honors and formed among other co-students the first newscast in Spanish to be broadcasted in the campus and City cable system.

 

Victor became a news videographer for couple of the major stations here in Los Angeles market including KMEX-TV34, KVEA-TV52 and KCBS-TV2 where he won several Awards to his editing, photography and story telling.

 

Eventually Victor got in front of the camera and became one of the most iconic entertainment reporters in the United States. He traveled the world interviewing celebrities and fronting his work live from all continents.

 

Latter he became Telemundo's Morning Show main Anchor were he worked for 7 years.

Now Victor Cordero is a General Assignment Reporter for KRCA-TV 62's prime time local newscast. 5, and 11 PM Monday - Friday 

 

It is well known that Victor Cordero has a passion for doing TV, and reporting News, but those who really know him, know that he enjoys flying a helicopter to have lunch at Catalina Island from time to time. 

One more of his hobbies is playing musical instruments like guitar or piano at his home studio in this great City of Los Angeles.
